The crucial role of education in a modern developing nation is widely recognized. In the growth of a developing nation, educational needs are imperative and its problems needs to be dealt with urgently. It was especially Gandhi Ji who gave a great deal of his attention to the Problems of developing a suitable system of education which would be workable at all of our societal levels.
It is a well-known fact that education plays an important role in the all round development of human being as well as the nation. It is a unique investment in the present as well as future. Every country develops its own system of education to express and promote its unique socio-cultural identity besides meeting the challenges of the educational environment through the educated society. Anoop Lal Yadav College was established by a freedom fighter Late Anoop Lal Yadav of this very remote area. In the year 1979, the college was established by him, keeping his view to educate the people of this remote and backward Koshi region.
At present also people of this subdivision gets education through this ony degree level college. This area is almost inhibited by backward caste, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, and minorities. This area gets flood every year. The saint, who established this college on the 15th August of 1979, keeping his view to educate people of this area, at least upto graduation level so that they can have their say in the national development.
The history of old colleges are based on the donation of land, money man power etc. so is the case of this college also. A gradual increment in the education of the needy of this area, made this area some more advance. The student of this area is making their representation in the national goals.
Anoop Lal yadav College is a permanent affiliated college in Arts / Science / Commerce faculties upto Honours level. It is a government aided college. The college has also been included in 2 (f) and 12 (B) section of University Grants Commission, New Delhi. This college is also getting grants from University Grants Commission as well as from state govt. of Bihar, for its development.
