A candidate can get admission into BA or BSC on the basis of selection provided the student has successfully cleared Intermediate (+2) from Bihar School Education Board or any other recognized board or University.
For obtaining ‘Honours’ in a subject, the candidate should have obtained at least 45 percent marks in that subject in intermediate (+2) exam. If academic council does not approve a chosen subject for ‘Honours’, in that case if the candidate has at least 45 percent marks in an auxiliary subject, then ‘Honours’ can be obtained in that subject.
1. In science subjects, only candidates who have qualified in science subjects at intermediate (+2) level can get ‘Honours’, but at least 45 percent marks should be there in the concerned subject.
2. For candidates having cleared intermediate (+2) Science with 45 percent marks can get admission for honours in any subject in art.
3. For candidates wishing to get admission in Honours of an art subject, should have obtained at least 45 percent marks in that art subject at intermediate (+2) level.
