Education Primarily aims at preparing the child for life. I am glad to have the opportunity of becoming principal of this developing college, of this educationally backward area, India today has one of the largest educational systems of the world. The phenomenal upsurge in the field of higher education, and the extraordinary increase in the volume of diversity of educational effort at various levels, have imposed a heavy strain on the existing administrative structure and organization in the college. Educational efforts is a long and painful process where one has to invest money and wait for a considerable time to see the results. The problems of fund is the main concern in the private college. Many teachers accept a job in a private college only as a stepping stone either for preparing for a competitive examination or for obtaining fellowships. The few that remain in private colleges always have an eye on job either is the university or in government. It should be emphasized that the principal of a private college has more onerous work than his counter part in a government college. The principal of a private college has to teac, administer, raise funds, attend to the construction of buildings, maintain harmonious relations with the students, staff, management, university, the public and the government. Overall educational reconstruction in the educationally backward regions needs ideas but these are not in short supply. What is needed is determination, resources, identification of priorities and concentration of efforts. I hope people of this area along with students will take advantage and give their positive and fruitful efforts each parsing day for achieving needed educational goals of this areas.
